The Scripture Witness (scripturewitness.com) is owned and run by Brett James, doing business as Gospel Grain Publishing, of the State of Texas (“we”, “us”, “the owner”). By using this site, with or without an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This library is Bible study: the King James Bible, and the teaching, reckoning and opinions of its author. Every claim carries a grade so you can see what is written and what is reasoned. Nothing on this site is legal, medical, psychological, financial or other professional advice, and it must not be used in place of such advice from a qualified person.
The dates on this site are given Anno Mundi (from Creation) with BC and AD beside them. They are a reckoning, drawn from Scripture and the author’s work, and graded as such; they are not a prediction. AM 6000 is shown as a marker only. No day is named for the coming of the Lord: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man” (Matthew 24:36). Where prophetic views are shown, they are views to be weighed, and you are free to draw your own conclusions. Do not make financial, family or life decisions on the strength of any date or reckoning shown here.
Histories, dates, ancient writings (such as 1 Enoch, Jubilees, the Apocrypha, the Dead Sea scrolls and the historians) and their translations are given as received and reckoned. We work to be accurate but do not promise that everything is free of error. If you find a mistake, please tell us with “Report a Mistake”.
Some helps use artificial intelligence: the polishing of your own written answers, drafts prepared from the author’s books, and the lesson, sermon and study builder. These can make mistakes, including wrong references or wording. Check every Scripture and every claim before you teach, preach or publish it. You are responsible for what you take from the site and use.
This library teaches from the author’s convictions. Using it does not require you to accept them, and offering it does not require the author to accept yours. You are free to weigh, test and disagree; the author is free to hold and teach what he believes.
Membership and access are offered at the sole discretion of the owner. We may refuse, suspend or end any account, membership or access at any time, for any lawful reason or none. You may close your account at any time by writing to us.
You must be at least 13 years old to make an account, and if you are under 18 you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done under your account.
Paid plans, when offered, will have their prices, renewals, cancellation and refunds set out on the plans page before you pay.
Your answers, notes and history belong to you. By saving them here you let us store, show back to you and process them (including polishing, if you choose it) so the site can work for you. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, threatening, or that belongs to someone else. We may remove anything that breaks these terms.
